The Department of 沟通研究 offers a Bachelor of Arts degree 传播学研究. Students who wish to specialize in this degree may elect a concentration in Professional and Organizational Communication or 修辞 and 公共文化. Students can also 小 传播学研究.

B.A. 传播学研究 offers the opportunity for students to tailor their degree based on their interests and goals:

• Students seeking to generalize can choose from an extensive list of courses designed to provide a broad range of communication knowledge and skills.
• The Professional and Organizational Communication concentration prepares you for careers in consulting, 培训, employee relations and management.
• 修辞 & 公共文化 concentration enhances students’ ability to craft effective messages, connect with diverse audiences and individuals, 说服, and lead positive change.

通才 (No Concentration)

The 沟通研究 Major without a concentration will prepare students with a uniquely broad base of communication knowledge and skill. The required courses are taught frequently and often taught online, maximizing schedule adaptability. Students can enhance their studies by consulting with a departmental advisor about courses related to these themes: communication systems, culture and society or identity and relationships.

Professional and Organizational Communication Concentration

The Professional and Organizational Communication concentration prepares graduates for work in consulting, 培训, 会议策划. This concentration presents lucrative and satisfying careers to 沟通研究 graduates.
