Dr. 罗伯特·诺伊斯, nicknamed “the Mayor of Silicon Valley”, was an American physicist and entrepreneur who co-founded Fairchild Semiconductor in 1957 and Intel Corporation in 1968. He is credited as one of the co-inventors of the integrated circuit (the microchip) that prompted the development of personal computers. - Recruit and graduate diverse mathematics and science educators responsive to the needs of underrepresented communities through highly effective, 基于探究的, 综合STEM教学.

项目要求
- Be working towards or have completed an undergraduate STEM major (mathematics, 生物学, 化学, 物理, environmental science) or post-bac
- Intend to complete the requirements of the secondary math or science teacher licensure program at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 教育学院
- Demonstrate a commitment to pursue a teaching career in a public school district for one year per semester of scholarship awarded

- Maintain a minimum content GPA of 2.75

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. At 密歇根州立大学丹佛 the following majors are eligible to pursue secondary education:

The scholarship is up to $14,000 each semester. The funds are awarded to the scholar to meet their academic costs as well as living or other expenses incurred as a student during the semester of the award.
